Also credited for creating the first comprehensive identity program, for which he is considered the first industrial designer in the country . He then became the director of the Dusselldorf School, and became more and more interested in the teaching of foundations, particularly the idea of composition based on the rules of geometry. He was one of the first artists to use the grid system. He was a true follower of the belief the “form follows function”.
He is an iconic designer for this time, not only because of his application of the geometric grid, but also because he began to create design packages for companies, along with their brand and identity, an aspect that still today we see companies apply to their marketing strategy.
